  • Wet hair.
  • Dispense the shampoo on your hands depending on your hair length.
  • Develop into lather with the help of water.
  • Massage into your scalp & hair. Rinse off. Repeat if necessary.
  • If your hair feels dry post wash, follow up with our pistachio and rose leave in conditioner.
  • We recommend using soft water than hard water as hard water hinders lather. Usage of soft water results in better lather.
  • Oiled hair need to be washed at least of three times in order to get rid of the oil.
  • Oil inhibits lather which can cause a less lathery wash at first. Once the oil is washed off, automatically the second wash will provide a better lather.

Transition from a chemical to a natural shampoo:

  • What’s the variance? Commercial shampoos contain a huge amount of harsh substances which strips of all the natural oils from your hair and eventually, they leave their very own residues and synthetic chemicals on your hair. Initially, your hair may feel great and very smooth from the silicones added in you shampoo, but can cause intense dryness and damaged over the period of time, leaving you hair lifeless. Scary right?
  • How are natural shampoos different? Natural shampoos are very gentle on your hair, and wont strip off those natural oils produced by your scalp. But initially, your hair may feel oily because of the transition period.
  • What’s mean by transition period? Initially, after switching to a natural shampoo, your hair may feel oily. This oiliness can last up to a week or two, but for some, it may take longer period of time as everyone’s hair is different. This phase of oiliness is known as the ‘transition period’.
  • Why my hair is oily after washing? The reason behind you hair getting oiler than before is because your scalp is overproducing natural oils in order to replace all that has been striped when using the chemical shampoo. Another reason is because of the build of the synthetic chemicals and residues of the shampoo you previously used.
  • What’s the solution? So you need to keep using the product regularly until your hair completely gets rid of that nasty chemical residue. Once your hair has gotten through this phase, it will feel healthier and better than it used to be.
